“La Raíz del Olivo” disponible para acciones de solidaridad, educación y acciones a favor de Palestina
El Laboratorio Audiovisual Chaski (L.A.Chaski), en colaboración con Resumen Latinoamericano y del Tercer Mundo, y el apoyo de la Red Panárabe de Noticias Al-Mayadeen en Español, ponen a disposición del trabajo de información, educación y solidaridad con Palestina a nivel internacional, el documental “La Raíz del Olivo” (2024) del realizador Sergio Eguino Viera.
El filme “La Raíz del Olivo”, cuenta la historia de cinco palestinos que viven lejos de su patria y narran sus experiencias frente al recrudecimiento del genocidio y la ocupación israelí, que lleva más de 77 años.
Desde la distancia, Watan, Omaima, Murid, Baylasan y Bassel comparten historias de lucha, pérdidas y esperanzas. A través de sus cartas, su cotidianidad y sus recuerdos, entrelazados con la impotencia de estar lejos, expresan su fe inquebrantable en un futuro libre para Palestina, siempre con el constante apoyo de Cuba, el país que los acoge.
La película estará disponible para muestras y proyecciones encaminadas a la concientización, el debate y acciones de denuncia y solidaridad sobre la actual situación en Palestina.

من المسافة البعيدة، يتشارك كل من وطن وأميمة ومريد وبيلاسان وباسل قصص الكفاح وفقدان أفراد عائلاتهم والأمل، من خلال رسائلهم وحياتهم اليومية وذكرياتهم المتداخلة مع عجزهم لفعل ما بسبب وجودهم في بلد بعيدا، يعبرون عن إيمانهم الراسخ بمستقبل حر لفلسطين، ودائماً بدعم كوبا الثابت، البلد الذي يحتضنهم ويستضيفهم.
سيكون الفيلم الوثاقي متاحًا للمهتمين بعرضه في نشاطات وصالات عرض خاصة تضامنية، التي تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الوعي والنقاش وأعمال التنديد بالاحتلال والعدوان والتضامن مع الوضع الحالي في فلسطين.

The film “The Root of the Olive Tree” tells the story of five Palestinians living far from their homeland, who narrate their experiences in the face of the intensification of genocide and Israeli occupation, which has lasted for more than 77 years.
From a distance, Watan, Omaima, Murid, Baylasan, and Bassel share stories of struggle, loss, and hope. Through their letters, daily lives, and memories, intertwined with the helplessness of being far away, they express their unwavering faith in a free future for Palestine, always with the constant support of Cuba, the country that welcomes them.
